*You have had different types of jobs, rather than following one linear path.
*When your spouce has been relocated
*You are a recent graduate or otherwise have limited paid experience.
*You are returning to the same career after raising a family or looking after aging parents.

*You are overqualified for a position.
*You are an older worker.
Use a combination format when:
*You have a steady work history that shows a diverse skill set.
*You want a broader range of professional objectives.
*You are a consultant who can show your contribution to a business’s success.
